Straight Answers
Call (541) 203-9995 and you'll talk to someone who can tell you, on the phone, whether your door is a quick fix or a bigger job. A broken torsion spring, a cable off the drum, an opener that hums but won't lift - most of that we can diagnose before a truck leaves the shop.
We work on garage doors in Eugene and the surrounding area, including plus out to Springfield, Creswell, Junction City, Veneta, Elmira, Harrisburg, Marcola, Cottage Grove, and Lowell. If you're not sure whether your address falls inside that range, just ask when you call.
A lot of the houses we see here were built between 1950 and 1997, with the bulk of the stock from the 1980s and 90s. That matters because doors and openers from that era were built to different standards than what's sold today - sectional panels that have gone brittle, openers with chain drives nobody services anymore, torsion springs sized for hardware that's since been discontinued. We see this pattern across the nine named areas we work in, not just one neighborhood.
Contacting Us
Phone is the fastest way to reach us: (541) 203-9995
Our address is 1550 Valley River Dr, Eugene, OR 97401. When you call, have the basics ready - whether the door is a single or double, whether it moves at all, and whether you've heard a bang or just a slow stop. That's usually enough for us to tell you what's likely wrong and what it typically involves to fix.
We're not a dispatch center reading from a script
The person who answers the phone is working out of the same address listed above, and that's where the job gets scheduled from. If you leave a message, we'll call back; we don't have an answering service relay your information through a third party.

What We Will Not Do
We won't quote a repair over the phone sight unseen if the problem sounds like it could be a bent track or a door off its rollers - those need a look before a number means anything. Guessing wrong on site costs you more than a short wait for someone to come check it in person.
We won't tell you a repair makes sense when replacement is the better call. Cold-climate houses in this area put real strain on weatherstripping and bottom seals over the winters, and once a door's insulation has failed along with its hardware, patching one part while the other keeps failing isn't worth your money.
We also won't promise parts on the spot for every door. Some of the openers and spring sizes from 1980s and 90s builds aren't things every supplier stocks, and if yours is one of them, we'll tell you that up front instead of guessing at a timeline we can't back up.
We don't work outside the area we've listed above. If your address isn't in Eugene or one of the towns named here, we'll say so rather than take the job and figure it out later.
Door stuck open or won’t close?
A garage door that won’t close leaves your home open. Tell us what’s happening and we’ll help you figure out the fastest way to get it secured.

Frequently asked
Straight answers about garage door repair in Eugene. Still unsure? Ask us directly.
Why does my garage door feel heavier than it used to?
On a house from the 1980s or 90s stock common here, that's almost always a torsion spring losing tension over time, not the door itself getting heavier. Springs are rated for a cycle count, and once they're past it the opener does more of the lifting than it's built for, which also shortens the opener's life.
Do you work on older doors from the 1950s-60s part of the stock?
Yes, though parts for the oldest doors in that 1950-1997 range sometimes take longer to source since the hardware predates current standard sizing. We'll tell you at diagnosis if that's the case so you're not waiting on a part without knowing why.
How cold does it get here and does that affect the door?
We're in a cold-moderate climate band, which is mild compared to true winter climates but still enough to stiffen grease in tracks and rollers and make a marginal spring finally let go on a cold morning. Most of the winter calls we get are springs that were already near the end of their cycle count.
